Well, hello there! I’m Shelby, the owner + photographer here behind Shelby JoLynne Photography. I was born & raised in New Mexico, & after moving across the country + overseas while my husband served our country in the military, we are happily back in our home state. I am married to my absolute best friend & we have two, beautiful little boys. I feel so unbelievably lucky to have photographed so many incredible women, couples, newborns, & families, in the the southwestern landscapes of New Mexico, the beaches & wine country of Southern California, the long coastlines & farm towns of North Carolina, & all the way to the gorgeous & colorful tropical island of Okinawa, Japan. 
Capturing the magic between couples, celebrating growing families + baby bumps, & preserving the smallest details of a newborn is where my heart lies in this little business. Splashing in the ocean, hiking through the forest, & standing on top of a mountain is what sets my soul on fire. My goal is to capture life as it is happening + a little touch of glam . I’m not your “smile & look at me” kind of photographer. I want to capture authentic, real moments between you & your loved ones. Creating a connection with you, my clients, is the biggest treat to my job. I am determined to spend an hour laughing & adventuring with you, all while capturing your one of a kind love stories.
